The Mediterranean diet is typical of Spain, the south of Italy and France, Malta and Greece. In November 2010 Parimonio was declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This diet is based on eating vegetables, fruits and nuts, bread, cereals, olive oil, vinegar and wine. This diet is very healthy because they eat fats are unsaturated fats.
One example of the recipe mediterranean:
Ingredients
* 1 kg of eggplant
* 500 g of tomato puree
* 350 g of mozzarella
* 3 tablespoons olive oil
* Coarse salt
* Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
1st: Wash the eggplant and cut into slices 1 cm. It let stand in a colander, cover with a plate to add weight for 20 min. Rinsed it in cold water and dry them with a kitchen towel: in this way we remove the bitter taste.
2nd: In a pan with olive oil we place a layer of eggplant, add tomato puree seasoned and sliced mozzarella. Repeat the layers until all ingredients used. Top with mozzarella.
3rd: Put the Cooking oven at 220 degrees for about 30 min. And put the eggplant in the oven to gratiné and all ready.
